What
kind of anesthesia is needed for the interventional procedures?
The
invasive procedures offered are all performed with local anesthesia
and light intravenous sedation.
How long will I need
to be in the hospital?
Most patients are discharged from the
hospital later the same day. Some stay overnight.
Will
my insurance cover this care?
All of our vein and artery treatments are covered by medical insurance plans except for vein treatments that are strictly cosmetic. Most of our vein treatments, however, are medically necessary and are typically covered.
How do I make an appointment?

What services are done in the office and what services
are done in the hospital?
Initial consultations, followup visits, and
most noninvasive diagnostic testing is performed in our office.
The arterial interventional procedures are all performed in
the hospital, typically as an outpatient. All of our vein treatments
are performed under local anesthetic in our Paramus office.
